3. Questions that raised up:

  • What are the best ways to make a patient feel like they are in a friendly environment?
  • As a registered nurse, is it a good place to start at rehabilitation center?
  • What’s process of taking a patient to the next level of treatment?
  • Do I want to be a registered nurse at a rehab facility or at a community hospital?

4.  The most important thing I gained from my mentorship is that the rehab facility it is a lot of interactions with each patient. I was able to see how the nurses get to communicate with their patient in so many ways. I got a better understanding about how to keep the patient happy and comfortable at there stay at the rehab center.

5. My senior project is about nursing. Being a volunteer at Casa Colina has taught me a lot of ways that a nurse interacts with their patients and how to help them progress from one level of achievement to the next at their stay at Casa Colina. The rehab center helped me by giving me a little experience with patients and interactions with some of the patients at the center.
